DIFFERENCES BETWEEN HIGH SCHOOL AND UNIVERSITY (TRANSITION)
Most students create some different new characteristics , change their life or their friendships, environments and habits when they start university because university and high school life are quite different from each other. I think there are two major differences between high school and university.Firstly, students' educational life (school life) changes. In high school , for example, teacher -student contact is very close , but in university it is nearly impossible to have a close contact with teachers. Students sent email when they have a problem , mostly they do not even talk each other face to face. Morever, academic expectations are not always high in high school and minimum effort is enough for good grades. However, in university academic expectations are much higher and minimum effort usually produces poor grades. In edition, in high school while there are limited forms of assessment, in university there are varied forms of assessment and different kinds of information which provide students with critical and analytical thinking.. Finally and most importantly students' life style changes very fast. When students study in high school , they generally live with their family and they always feel themselves under control , so they can not do what they want. However, in the university they are free, they can do what they want. This freedom also provides them to learn to rely on themselves and begin to experience the results of their own good and bad decisions. Therefore, they become a real adult and individual. After away from the family , students also learn how to manage time, money, deal with some daily tasks such as meal, ironing, washing and solve problems by their own.At beginning they can sorry abouth these things and miss their family , but then they get used to this situation. In university habits can also change because of new friends and environment. For example, most students start to drink alcohol or smoke with friends. In university there are a lot of facilities, so students have a lot of chances to be social , active and educated people. All in all, university life is different from highschool life in terms of students' educational life and life style.

FLE 133 CONTEXTUAL GRAMMAR EXERCISE
EXERCISE 1
Our beagle loves hunting. Whenever someone opens the back door for her, she barrels down porch steps into the yard and runs back and forth across the lawn in ecstasy. Her nose cruises the wet grass for smells of cats, rabbits and other presences which are too subtle for human detection. While sniffing, she spins her tail in quick circles. At first, it spins clockwise and after it spins counterclockwise. Sniffing and spinning always occur together
EXERCISE 2
The Government Printing Office in Washington D.C. is a source of much useful information about which few people know .It is the official publishing house for the federal government .The GPO publishes pamphlets and books on a large number of subjects which range from the dangers of X-rays from home TV sets to the identification of mushrooms. About 27,000 publications are offered through the Superintendent of Documents many of which are inexpensive and for some of which there is no charge at all.

YOUNG PEOPLE RAISE DIVORCE RATE
According to some researchers young people raise divorce rate with their marriages which last average 10 years because they are not properly ready for a marriage. I fully agree with these researchers because young people are not seriously prepared for it. Firstly, young people can't understand what true marriage is and they don't know what responsibilities it requests. The young just decide to marry and do it without thinking after marriage.During their marriage, young people confront some problems with their responsibilities. For example, when they were with their family ,they did not have to think money, but now they have to earn money to meet some requirements such as rent or bills. In addition, they have to do some daily tasks such ascooking, cleaning or even loking after baby. They do not ready such tasks yet because they can't cope with those things.Therefor, they are easily bored with marriage.Secondly, because young people have not been a mature yet, their feelings are not also steady , their feelings can change more frequently and quicker than olders with time.During this period, they may not think properly , so they decide quickly and then when their feelings change with time , they devorce. For example , at first they think that this is a true love and I m right , but later they recognize that it doesn't. To sum up,young people raise divorce rate in terms of responsibilities they do not meet before and being too young to understand their feelings.
